Sarah is a wife, a mother, CEO of TLC (founded as Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities) and serves in the North Carolina House of Representatives. She makes time to run now because it is just about the only thing she does completely for herself; and let’s be real, it’s a great stress reliever.  As a never-was-an-athlete turned ultramarathoner, an accomplishment she didn’t achieve until she was 42, Sarah knows that the power of other people believing in her before she even believed in herself sometimes has been a key to her success.
